My wife, Johana, went into preterm labor in the early morning of January 8th, 2022. Her labor turned into an emergency cesarean section at St. Joseph’s Hospital and we delivered Masi Paul Sainz at 9:18 A.M. weighing 2lbs 5oz and Mina Jo Sainz at 9:21 A.M weighing 1lbs 5oz

Mina did get the emergency code pressed upon her delivery as she needed to be resuscitated before she was successfully intubated, and although she was critical she was stable. Masi came out crying and successfully went onto Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation. We were informed that the next 72 hours were crucial and that both of our babies had quite the fight to endure.
